Any chemistry majors? I wish to change the consistantcy of a product..?

The product already exists on some store shelves. The container it comes in is a plastic jar, as the kind used for lotion. I wish to change the consistancy of this product so it can go in a squeeze tube. Where can I find out how to ';liquify'; this product? Without giving away my idea, here are 3 hints: the item now comes in a hardened, wax-like form, the item comes from a natural plant, and adding water alone does not help.Any chemistry majors? try adding some oil, mix it in the mixer. Without telling me what is that you want to dissolve, this is all I can do for you.
