On the end that inserts into trans it seals with an O-ring, there is a tab on the tube that attaches to the bell housing with 1 bolt. Make sure trans where tube fits is very clean to avoid containation of trans. Tube inserts into trans on pass. side just forward of cooler lines.
rotate it as you lift it up from the bottom, it will go but needs to be rotated as you feed it up into place, did you remove the bellhousing bolt that secures it to the transmission?
Bend it a little.
Or go to a junk yard and buy a used one.
