When you are signed onto youtube, look up at the top of the screen by your username, click account then do profile apperance or something like that.

- Edit Channel.

- Look for ';Advanced Design Customization';.

- I guess you're done.
the easiest way is to go into the channel page of someone whose art work etc you like..

Moms/Dads- how did you child act after tubes were inserted in ears?
Hello- My son just got tubes in his ears. I wanted to hear from other parents on how tubes helped their kids, did it change their behavior in any ways? Eating, sleeping, social behavior???Moms/Dads- how did you child act after tubes were inserted in ears?
My first son had tubes in his ears when he was 10 months old. It really helped almost eliminate the number of ear infections. He slept better and was happier, I believe because his ears weren't hurting him as much. I think if your son was having trouble with eating, sleeping and social behavior you should see improvement right away after the tubes. Constant ear infections can make a baby miserable - but the tubes are a great thing!

My Son got tubes placed in his ears at 2 1/2 and he began acting like the sound was just too much. He would cover his ears if there were loud noises around. I guess from not hearing well before. He soon adjusted and at 19 listens to way too much noise!
I think it was a wonderful operation for him, he never had another ear infection ever again and he was so much healthier! I love the operation and would recommend it to any one who's child needs it!!
Most kids have no trouble adjusting to the tubes. Everything just seems louder to them for a few days.

I did not notice any changes in his behavior at all. I really expected him to start talking better/more, but that didn't happen either.
For my daughter it did, she was able to hear things better. She was 80% deaf before the tubes, after about 5 months her hearing was were it needed to be, it did not affect her eating, but it did affect her social behavior and she sleep light for while. To her everything she was hearing was new and it was overwhelming in the beginning but she has done great

Are scientists nearing completion in their effort to create life in test tubes?
I've been reading about this and I find it utterly fascinating. I used to say, if somebody ever creates life from scratch, I will change from an agnostic to atheist. Looks like that decision is approaching, and I'm not ready! I wonder if life without sex becomes successful, how it will affect others religious beliefs.Are scientists nearing completion in their effort to create life in test tubes?
This is one I keep up with, too. I'm interested enough that I have contacted some of the scientists directly that are working on aspects of the project. They are hopeful and confident. I'm convinced that we are within ten years of creating an artificial life form. This will be a weak single celled life form and it may be a long time after that before artificial multi-celled life is created.

';We're talking about a technology that could change our world in pretty fundamental ways ?in fact, in ways that are impossible to predict.';
That first cell of synthetic life ?made from the basic chemicals in DNA ?may not seem like much to non-scientists. For one thing, you'll have to look in a microscope to see it.
';Creating protocells has the potential to shed new light on our place in the universe,'; Bedau said. ';This will remove one of the few fundamental mysteries about creation in the universe and our role.';
And several scientists believe man-made life forms will one day offer the potential for solving a variety of problems, from fighting diseases to locking up greenhouse gases to eating toxic waste.
Bedau figures there are three major hurdles to creating synthetic life:
?A container, or membrane, for the cell to keep bad molecules out, allow good ones, and the ability to multiply.
?A genetic system that controls the functions of the cell, enabling it to reproduce and mutate in response to environmental changes.
?A metabolism that extracts raw materials from the environment as food and then changes it into energy.
One of the leaders in the field, Jack Szostak at Harvard Medical School, predicts that within the next six months, scientists will report evidence that the first step ?creating a cell membrane ?is ';not a big problem.'; Scientists are using fatty acids in that effort.
Szostak is also optimistic about the next step ?getting nucleotides, he building blocks of DNA, to form a working genetic system.
His idea is that once the container is made, if scientists add
nucleotides in the right proportions, then Darwinian evolution could simply take over.
';We aren't smart enough to design things, WE JUST LET EVOLUTION DO THE HARD WORK and then we figure out what happened,'; Szostak said.
In Gainesville, Fla., Steve Benner, a biological chemist at the Foundation for Applied Molecular Evolution is attacking that problem by going outside of natural genetics. Normal DNA consists of four bases ?adenine, cytosine, guanine and thymine (known as A,C,G,T) ?molecules that spell out the genetic code in pairs. Benner is trying to add eight new bases to the genetic alphabet.
Bedau said there are legitimate worries about creating life that could ';run amok,'; but there are ways of addressing it, and it will be a very long time before that is a problem.
';When these things are created, they're going to be so weak, it'll be a huge achievement if you can keep them alive for an hour in the lab,'; he said. ';But them getting out and taking over, never in our imagination could this happen.';

Religious beliefs are just that, 'beliefs' only and must be tested before they are assumed to be true. Some people need such mental crutches in order to handle the realities of the natural world. Several months ago the polio virus was successfully reproduced from scratch. A synthetic virus was injected into rabbits that developed symptoms of polio. Sorry, I am presently unable to provide reference for this event. That's synthetic life by my definition.
A synthetic single cell organism will be a tremendous step forward. I've read some speculative fiction about such events. Get ready for big changes !
I may sound very cynical and skeptical, which I am. But I still don't think that any amount of knowledge and ability justify giving up on all aspects of the divine or an afterlife. The predominant religions apply details to the point of contradiction.
Search for the simple, the straightforward, and the self evident to find personal truths.

I have never replaced a radiator before but it looks pretty simple, take the fan cover off remove all the hoses and tubes from the radiator put the new one in and reconnect hoses. My truck is a 1990 Chevy K1500 5.7 350 TBI. I had a dream the other night that my supervisor and coworkers (Principal, Teacher and Aides) were all going to climb the side of a tall building. We all had to go. It was required for the job. It was like rock climbing. There was a rope or some type of lineage fastened to our belts, and we had to climb. I asked how high it was. One coworker said ';100 feet';. I told them I was scared to death of heights. I would do anything else. I had no problems changing diapers or tube feeding. But this is where I drew the line. They said they were shocked by me. Everyone else was doing it. Then, they said I would have to get a pilot to fly me to the top of the building . I would have to meet them there, since I wouldn't climb like I was supposed to. Guitar amp help- Vox AD15VT-?
I have had this amp maybe four or five years- Recently I have been getting a lot of distortion and the volume doesn't seem to kick up as high as it used to.
Would changing out the tube in the pre amp section help to clean any of this up? That's the only tube this amp has- I'm mostly sure. If you know more than me please feel free to tell me about it.
I've never owned an all tube amp so I don't know how a valve behaves when it's getting old and should be replaced.

Your AD15VT has a single tube, a 12AX7. After 4 years of use, I would not be surprised if the tube is ready to be replaced. Before I bought a new tube, I would check the old one. Have it checked on a tube tester, any electronics repair shop should be able to test it for you.
I have played some Vox amps and love them. However, I have not played the AD15VT. I checked the reviews at Harmony Central. Seems like several folks have experienced sound volume problems. Granted some of the guys who wrote the reviews may not understand how to use and maintain a tube amp, but enough of them commented about volume changes to make me wonder if there could be some other problem. That is why I suggest testing the tube first. If the tube needs replacement, great. Pop in a new one and you are back in business. However, if the tube is not the problem, then it is time to take it to the shop to find the cause.

When my amp is @ volume 6, how do I get it to sound the way it sounds on volume 3 w/o an attenuator?
I have a vintage Blackface Super Reverb tube amp w/ no master volume. I love the way it sounds when I practice in the apartment @ home and the volume @ 3. At this volume, w/ my Tube Screamers and Fulltone OCD pedal, I can get a beautiful Santana-esque sustain. But when our band does gigs, our drummer is so loud that sometimes I need to turn up to about 6. At that volume the tone changes as the Tube Screamers don't sound as defined %26amp; the overdrive is not as singing as it is kinda mid rangey. At that level in the gigs, I set my mid %26amp; treble to about 4-6, and bass around 2.5-3 w/ reverb about 2 if at all.
There's no way I can practice in my apartment w/ the levels I use to gig %26amp; am like most people so broke that an amp attenuator is out the question. What do I do? Lots of tricks here.
The easiest fix is to try plugging into input 2 of the channel instead of input 1. That should clean up and tighten your sound a bit. Another free tip is to try turning down your guitar's volume knob from 10 to 9 or 8. It won't kill your volume too much, but it should cause your pedals to clean up just a bit, which might help.
You could also use your amp's tone controls to your advantage. A quirk of Fender's blackface-era, 3-knob tone control circuit is that the ';mid'; knob actually works like a volume control instead of a true midrange control. The only reason midrange seems to be affected is because of a quirk of the human ear that naturally accentuates the midrange once it gets above a certain volume level. Try setting your tone up with the amp's volume on 3, but the midrange on 10 and add treble and bass to taste. It will be louder than you might think and you might get your sound back.
Also, Santana's classic sound was achieved by him plugging straight into with a Boogie Mark 1 prototype, which is just a tweed Fender Bassman clone with a master volume added and driving a 12'; speaker. He cranked it up to 10 and then used the sheer volume feeding back from the amp to accentuate his sustain. Your Super Reverb already gets a sound very close to that amp, so It should be very easy for you to get close to his sound. You may not even have to use any pedals, just try turning your amp up. It will get more natural compression and your guitar will sustain more as you turn the volume up. After that you can add pedals to taste.
If you're willing to spend a little bit of coin, I'd recommend looking into a compressor pedal like the MXR Dynacomp. If you set it to a moderate sensitivity setting, it'll give you more sustain and a clean volume boost without your sound losing focus. I have one and it has become indispensable to my sound, especially as a boost for solos and when I want more sustain from my rig.

Home made cold air intake?
If i install a home made cold air intake without replacing my air filter box, just changing the intake tubing to the box, can i face the tube forward behind the grill of my car, or will that cause water if I'm driving in rain to travel up about the 3 feet of flexible tubing into the engine and hydrolock it? I have a 2004 pontiac vibe if that helps. Basically what i want to do is take the pre-existing tubing that is going to the box and run a tube that goes to the grill facing forward instead so the cooler air travels up into the airbox to the engine. I don't think about it much anymore but it's depressing and it's something that I'd rather not believe would be true, but given the evidence and the way the media in our country works, I see it as a very likely possibility. Myself, I'm not convinced either way, but I DO believe the whole thing is fishy. There are SO many things that are unexplained and reek of prior planning, whether or not Al-Qaeda, our government, Larry Silverstein, Israeli special ops, shadow government groups, were behind it or not. I am pretty sure WTC 7 was brought down with a contolled demolition, and I am pretty sure something is fishy about the pentagon crash. On the twin towers, there are many questions I have and whether or not they were controlled demolition, structural collapse, or a combination of the two, remains unanswered to me.
I don't consider myself a nut because I don't take anything for granted, or rush to jump to any conclusions. Where I have questions, I want real answers. So far, I have researched a lot of the debunking websites and videos, and think they hold valuable truth, but still, they have not explained everything, and have yet to fully convince me either way. I'm not a nut because if anyone could prove without a shadow of a doubt that 19 hijackers were responsible for everything, including the aftermath, I would believe the official story 100%. However, it is not proven in my mind, and the events of 9/11 hold way to many questions to simply let it go. If ANYthing was fishy, it deserves to be scrutinized.

Myself, I'm not convinced either way, but I DO believe the whole thing is fishy. There are SO many things that are unexplained and reek of prior planning, whether or not Al-Qaeda, our government, Larry Silverstein, Israeli special ops, shadow government groups, were behind it or not. I am pretty sure WTC 7 was brought down with a contolled demolition, and I am pretty sure something is fishy about the pentagon crash. On the twin towers, there are many questions I have and whether or not they were controlled demolition, structural collapse, or a combination of the two, remains unanswered to me.
I don't consider myself a nut because I don't take anything for granted, or rush to jump to any conclusions. Where I have questions, I want real answers. So far, I have researched a lot of the debunking websites and videos, and think they hold valuable truth, but still, they have not explained everything, and have yet to fully convince me either way. I'm not a nut because if anyone could prove without a shadow of a doubt that 19 hijackers were responsible for everything, including the aftermath, I would believe the official story 100%. However, it is not proven in my mind, and the events of 9/11 hold way to many questions to simply let it go. If ANYthing was fishy, it deserves to be scrutinized.
I think many people enjoy denouncing anyone who even questions the official story. The nut jobs give people who just want to reopen the investigation a bad name.

What should we do about a dictator band director?
He used to Play for OSU and he is new and replaced are old cool band director. The other one then retired as well so he is now the main teacher. so he made us look a lot better and start memorizing music which is good but, we cant play a big favorite that we played for like 3 years and no one had a problem with it until now. The cadence is Sexy/Sexi. You spell the letters then yell it. In another cadence people yell _________s mom. whoever. Its fun but apparently its disrespectful. We also used to decorate our instruments however we wanted for homecoming for ever like every other school but last year he is like it looks tacky...that tradition was ended as well. He yells at us for everything and does not let us have any fun. Its not just me but the majority if not close to the entire band doesn't like him. I personally Hate him.

I just want to get an idea as I may have to do this in a hurry tomorrow and I don't know the station. Are there stairs/escalators involved, or is it a 'flat' change? Are there any shortcuts worth knowing about, or better places to be on the train in order to be close to walkways etc. that will save time? How do I change from a waterbed to a regular mattress?
I have a water bed (the kind that has sides, and then has tubes inside it, and then a separate piece that lays on top with sides on it.) I also have a box spring under it. I am wanting to get rid of the tubes, and have a regular mattress. I have read about mattress inserts but don't really know what those are or where to buy those (but would love any info on that). As far as draining it goes, if you are just going to dispose of the tubes, you can carry them outside or to your tub and pull the cap and plug. Simply empty them and throw them away.

Some oil change centers use a device made by ';Vaculia'; it has a nylon thin wall tube inserted down the dip stick and uses negative pressure to draw the oil out. The only other option is replace the dammaged oil pan.
Top up the oil then take it to any car centre that does tyres exhausts %26amp; oil changes, most dont remove the sump plug to save time %26amp; have a machine that sucks the old oil out - your cheapest option Id say.
you need to get the old plug out even if its strippedut some vise grips on it and pull while you turn counterclockwise to remove it, let all the oil drain out and take the old plug to an auto parts store there you can either buy an oversize plug that will re-tap a larger hole or my favorite is a rubber plug that they sell which resembles a baby bottle nipple it comes with a tool that you insert into the plug that stretches it out %26amp; thins it at the same time then you insert it into the hole %26amp; remove the tool %26amp; the plug expands into the striped hole %26amp; seals it off. I Hope This Helps!

you need to get that plug out, they make a self threading repair insert and new plug. Take a large pair of diagonal cutters (dykes) and loosen the bolt as far as you can, then place the jaws of the dykes under the bolt head and squeeze, this will keep downward pressure on the bolt as you turn it out, keep the jaws on the bolt shank pulling down on the handles using it to pry until the bolt is completely out, then replace the bolt with the new insert and new bolt and change your oil.
I believe you can get a re threading kit for around $100. Before you invest the money, seriously try harder to get in contact with the mechanic that did your oil changes. If he did the oil change and stripped the plug, he should be fixing or replacing your oil pan.
I would follow Nick's advice and get the oil plug changed. If the plug is stripped or rusted in there, it is possible that it is damaged and may actually start leaking oil...all over your driveway...on a long trip in the hot summer...stuck in mid-town traffic.
Best thing to do is go to a place like Jiffy Lube, explain about the plug being stripped, and ask them if they can get it off, change the oil and filter, and put on a replacement plug that is not damaged. You'll probably pay $24.99 for the oil change, another $5-10 for a new plug, but afterwards you can either let your boyfriend change the oil, or have it done anywhere.

I had my tubes tied 3 years ago after my 3rd child. At that time i had made a choice too fast without thinking and agreed with the doctors for getting my tubes tied. I even remember just before going in to deliver my 3rd child i did have second thoughts about getting my tubes tied i wanted to change my mind. i guess i was just too exhusted and didn't say a word. For the past 3 years i've been reading everyones responses and thoughts online on how to get pregnent if tubes are tied. i kept hopeing i would get pregnent again but so far i have not. seems like a disapointment every month. i was just wondering if anyone had an idea of the costs on how to get pregnent other ways. i dont want anyone elses eggs etc. i think there is also a way of implanting i dont know how that works. im in canada ontario and if anyone had an idea of the costs here for that. upon that i'll go see the doctor here maybe to get somethng like that done. but i hear its very expenisve.

How is it possible for a strict aerobe to oxidatively metabolize carbohydrates without producing any acid?
I have a feeling this won't get a response, but here goes.....I did an O/F glucose (Hugh-Leifson) test on Micrococcus luteus (most likely), which is a strictly aerobic, G+ coccus (catalase +). I was expecting to see no change in the anaerobic tube and some yellow in the aerobic tube. Instead, I had a negative result in both tubes - no color change in either. This tells me that either a) the bacteria couldn't grow well in that medium or b) I have an asaccharolytic bacterium.
I know now that M luteus can metabolize carbohydrates aerobically without producing acid. Therefore, it seems that my test result could have been correct. If the bacteria were consuming the glucose and not producing any acid, then the medium wouldn't change color from green to yellow because the color change reaction in the O/F test is strictly based on acidity, right? Should a little bit of yellow have developed towards the top?
How can you go through aerobic respiration without producing any citric acid, pyruvic acid, etc, along the way? Or maybe they are producing acid but just not enough to cause the color reaction to happen? This is for an unknown project. I'm trying to write the report for it, but I got hung up on this issue and now I'm curious to figure it out.

hmmm... im just a lowly undergrad so im not 100% on this. but if by chance it utilized the TCA cycle, then would produce CO2 gas, as with certain proteobacteria ? and the acids involved would remain strictly as intermediates-in relatively low amounts.

My Bicycle's rear Tyre is Touching my Bike Frame.?
I recently changed my bicycles tube and then when i started riding my bike i noticed some friction, i looked over and i saw my wheel was colliding with the frame. ( i have never had this problem).
The bike tyre has left a gap on one side and is touching the frame on the other.
I wan't to know how i can fix this problem.
( this is my last resort. I have searched all over with no luck so if you could find me something i would really appricate it)

It is a problem with the rim, it is bent. To remedy this problem take it to any bicycle shop that only sells bikes and you can get it fixed for around $15-$30. Or if you want a new one it will depend on the bike type so it could be anywhere from $20-$100 for a new rim.
you can often loosen the bolt until the wheel is not firmly held push the wheel into the centre of the fork and re tighten, this often happens if you hit a large bump.
try bike upside down .!!sounds like you put it on backwards take rim off bike flip it around!!if that didnt work do this...loosen the axle bolts on both sides nuge tire to even the space on both side between tire and frame making sure axle is squared to frame.tighten the bolts you may have to do this 2 or 3 times .check by spining tire .if that doesnt work you may need to have your rim ';trued';(straightened out)

it it always touches the frame and you have the old style dropouts (where the axle slides into the frame), then most likely you didnt slide the axle in evenly. unscrew the bolts on each side of the axle a little. straighten out the wheel with you hand, then with the other hand, tighten down the bolts again. use a wrench when it gets tought, but dont let the wheel slip out again.
i would say loosen the side where the gap is and tighten the other, if this doesnt work make sure the wheel isnt on backwards, if this still doesnt help take it to a bicycle shop where the wheel should be trued(not something to try on your own unless you know how)

Ok, changing a flat tire is really rather easy. There are a ton of websites that can give you directions, but it boils down to this. (you'll need supplies, tire levers and a new tube. You should be able to look at the sidewall of the tire and see the size. Write that down (or take the wheel to a bike shop) and they'll get you the right size tube.
1- remove wheel from the bike. You'll probably need to undo some bolts (assuming the bike doesn't have a quick-release skewer). Take a couple pictures with a digital camera as a ';before'; so you know what it is supposed to look like. This is good advice for all bike repairs.
2- pull tire bead off the rim. The best way to do this is with a tire lever. You put the tire lever under the bead and pull up and out. Sometimes you need to get 2 levers under the tire bead and then you slide around the rim so that the bead is completely off the rim.
3- remove tube from tire. you should be able to grab it at this time. eventually you'll get to the stem, push that up and move the tire around so you can get the stem out in one piece.
4- put new tube inbetween the wheel and tire. I start with the stem, then push the tube up and into the gap between the tire and wheel. eyeball it, make sure it's accurate.
5- put the tire back on the rim. you do this by pushing/pulling/squeezing the tire onto the rim. you may only be able to get ';most'; of the tire back on. The last bit is hard and I'll usually use a tire lever to push the rest of it on.
6- pump up the tire slowly. gas station pumps are designed to push an ENORMOUS amount of air into car tires-- you need a floor pump (see bike shop) so you can control how much air goes in and how quickly the air goes in. A good floor pump will have a gauge to tell you what pressure (measured in bars or PSI) you have put in the tire. Pump up aways and look at the tire to make sure the bead stays on the rim and you've done everything right. If you notice things going wrong (usually a bulge) stop, let the air out and try to fix the problem.
7- put the wheel back on the bike. refer to pictures above to get it right.
Also, DO NOT USE A SCREWDRIVER like the other poster said. A screwdriver is very likely to pinch/cut the tube and you'll be fixing another flat. Special tools called ';tire levers'; exist, made out of plastic, and cost about a buck. you can test fuses with a multimeter,put the meter on the resistance setting touch one lead to one end of the fuse and the other to the other end if the fuse is good t will show no resistance between the two ends,if it is bad it will show infinate resistance between the two ends(if good meter will go to zero,if bad meter will top out).if you pulled one and the cap came off the end it is definately bad,just use a pair of needle nose pliars or something to pull the cap out of the fuse box.the best way to remove glass fuses is with a fusepuller,less chance of breaking the fuse that way.Sometimes the filiment burns out at the end of the fuse where you cant see it,this is what usually makes the end caps pull off.How do i test the old Fuses that look like Tubes, to see if they are good or need changed?
The filament in the middle of the fuse should be gone that's how to tell a glass fuse is blown.
You can get that cap out with a small screw driver. Just pry it out. And you can check your fuses with an inexpensive ohm meter/continuity checker.

I changed my rear tube and now my bike won't pedal. When I took off the tire I had it on the smallest cog. Once I got it pumped up and replaced onto the bike I spun it to make sure it wasn't rubbing on the tire or the rim. There are alot of reasons to get tubes. The basic idea is that if he has fluid back there - the tubles will clear out the fluid so that he can hear better. If he can hear and doesn't have any other issues - then he will begin talking better and you will see improvement right away. If there are other developmental issues and delays - it won't affect him at all. Each ear infection he has had has already affected his speech because it affects his hearing. With tubes they say you might notice a small change in speech but as long as they work as they should you shouldn't notice a huge change. I would suggest that after about 6 months if you see a major speech problem for his age group then i would look into a speech evaluation to make sure his speech doesn't get to far behind. I know my nephew has had atleast 20 ear infections and even with the tubes he got them so they took them out and he is almost 2 years old and barely can say words right, we just have to guess what he is saying but his mom says he will outgrow it
My son had tubes at 11 months. It was the best thing in the world. I am not sure how old your son is, but I am sure the tubes will at the very least help him feel better. If there is a speech issue I would imagine you would see improvement right away.

There are alot of reasons to get tubes. The basic idea is that if he has fluid back there - the tubles will clear out the fluid so that he can hear better. If he can hear and doesn't have any other issues - then he will begin talking better and you will see improvement right away. What is the best way to change a bicycle flat?
I use a bicycle to get work and I really hate flats! I have the thick armadillo tires and thick tubes and I keep the air pressue at the proper level, but sometimes I get flats. I always hear about how easy it is to break down the tire and fix the flat and have the tire back on in 10 minutes or less, but that never happens to me! Plus, the glue doesnt seem to want to work as advertised. What a pain! So how do you change a flat and how long does it take you?What is the best way to change a bicycle flat?
Replacement tubes are cheap, don't bother with those silly patch kits; they rarely work. With a fully deflated tire, you should easily be able to remove the tire from the rim without any tools (except the wrench to remove the rim from the bike). Starting from the part of the tire furthest from the valve stem, pull the tire to the side of the rim. The fit will be snug but you should be able to pull it off without too much trouble. When I replace a tire with a new inner tube I always put a little air in the tube before installation; it helps to get the tube to stay inside the tire without any twists. Place the tube inside the tire and starting from the valve stem, work the tire onto the rim all the way around the rim. Check to make sure the tire is seated properly and inflate to the recommended PSI. Done!What is the best way to change a bicycle flat?

Actually, I haven't had a flat recently. You should try to determine why you're getting the flats (nails, glass, bad rim, etc). If you're tired of flats, you can get those thick tubes that don't need inflation and don't get flat. I don't know how they ride, but they don't go flat.
I'd expect that if I had a flat, It'd take me a while to change it (probably 10-20 minutes). Although, it would actually take me longer because I'd have to go get supplies to fix it. I should probably carry an extra tube and changing supplies just to be safe.
get two of those neat little plastic bicycle tire irons at the bike store that hook onto your spokes. after removing the wheel from the bike, slide those tire irons in an hook them, but only undo one side. peel the bad tube out. get your new tube, put a tiny bit of air into it to give it its shape, and then CAREFULlY stuff it into the open side (valve insterted first) being careful not to pinch it anywhere. then start at the valve again, and kneed the tire back on like a loaf of raw dough. make sure the bead is fairly even all the way around. when i was good it would take about six minutes. if i did it today it would probably take me about ten. have a great, safe ride!
best thing is to carry an extra tube in a pouch on your bike or something, and replace it when you need it, and the one that was damaged, take it home and fix it and carry that one with you all the time until the next time.

MOT Emissions failure, what could it be, help!?
My MK3 ford fiesta recently failed its MOT for high carbon monoxide emisions. Im not to sure what it was, but their was one thing i thought could be affecting the emisions. I recently swopped the air box for a cone air filter because the entire air box was broken and the car was running funny, but when a fiited the cone air filter the car has been running fine.
But when i changed it, one tube that came from the engine into the air box now goes nowhere (not sure how big of an issue, if its even an issue that is). I left the mass air flow sensor their, but the air temperature sensor is no longer their, i dont know if this could be enough to affect the emisions.
If its not this, what could if be?

the one from the engine is proberly a oil breather hose, you can buy piper breathers from demon tweeks.
didnt know the mk3 fez had a air temp sensor.
personally i'd put the original airbox and filter back in and pour half a bottle of redex in the car. worked for my mot, my xr2i failed on emissions and the redex worked a treat.
p.s instead of a cone filter in a mk3 your better off buying a K%26amp;N panel filter, drilling holes in the bottom of the original airbox and using that, great airflow without the hot air of the engine bay.MOT Emissions failure, what could it be, help!?
It could just be dirty oil and an old oil filter.
My car's diesel. Just before the MOT I always use an engine flush and then change the oil and oil filter. It never fails on emisions now.... it use to, every time.
Maybe a faulty exhaust.
Possibly the Catalytic converter, but I would put the sensor back it is needed
could be a few things like faulty m.a.p sensor of faulty intake sensor, could be carbon buildup on the ports, or mite jst need a full service things like spark plugs, oil and filter, fuel filter and the cone filter mite need cleanin. Would also go 2 a scarp yard and get a air box and put a proper filter in. and as some of the other answers say mite be the cat converter
How long had the car been standing before it had its M.O.T. if the car was cold when it was being tested,then the emissions would have been higher as the choke would have automatic control started on it,best to run the engine for a while before the M.O.T. or better still go for a drive along a stretch of motorway before the test so the engine is warm and the exhaust has had chance to clear of any water,oil,debris etc
