How long does it take to change from the Circle/District line to the Victoria line at Victoria tube station?

I just want to get an idea as I may have to do this in a hurry tomorrow and I don't know the station. Are there stairs/escalators involved, or is it a 'flat' change? Are there any shortcuts worth knowing about, or better places to be on the train in order to be close to walkways etc. that will save time? Any help/local knowledge greatly appreciated! How long does it take to change from the Circle/District line to the Victoria line at Victoria tube station?
Stairs and an escalator are involved.

It should take five minutes or so but can get quite busy.

To get from the District and Circle platforms you take stairs down from the platform, walk along a corridor for a bit and then take an escalator down to the Victoria Line.

The stairs down are at the end of the D%26amp;C platform so it may be worth asking a guard before you get on the D%26amp;C train which end is best to stand at.

As far as I'm aware there are no ways of time saving - if at all possible I suppose you could change at another station as the Victoria tube station is one of the busiest on the whole networkHow long does it take to change from the Circle/District line to the Victoria line at Victoria tube station?
It is well signposted - allow three to five minutes - there is a significant change of level catered for by escalators.
