How Do I Change The File Type of my vidoe so i can put it on you tube?

i tryed to put it on there and it said this:

Broadcast: Public | Failed (invalid file format)

Right click on the video file and ';rename'; the file using the file extension format for videos on u-tube.How Do I Change The File Type of my vidoe so i can put it on you tube?
that is probably a save game file that you can replay? you'd probably have to hook your game machine to a video camera to get it into .dv or mpeg format that youtube can understand. or just replay the movie and record it with a video cam on a tripod.



I very much doubt there is a converter from that format to youtube compatible.
This seems a Windows movie maker file.



Now open it in Windows movie maker.

Click file.

click save movie as

follow the instructions.
Start Windows Movie Maker.



On the File menu, click Import into Collections or click Import Media Items, select the file that you want to import, and then click Import.



Drag the video to the storyboard at the bottom of the window.



On the File menu, click Save Movie File in Microsoft Windows XP or click Publish Movie in Windows Vista.



Click My Computer, and then follow the steps in the Save Movie Wizard to save the movie file.



When the wizard prompts you to select the movie file settings, select the settings that are most appropriate for how you plan to use the file.
