the files aren't accepted on you tube. How do I change the file type?Windows DVD maker... how do I upload the video's to youtube?
A video file should meet the following requirements so that it can be uploaded to YouTube site.

1. In an acceptable format: WMV, MPEG4, MOV, AVI and MPEG.

2. Video length is shorter 10 minutes.

3. File size is smaller than 1GB.

Regarding the acceptable formats, If your video is not accepted, you can get a conversion tool to convert it to MPEG4 video with MP3 audio, which may result in the best quality.

You should convert the VOB files(Video DVD video_ts folder) to youtube video format, then upload to youtube, the best video format for youtube is 1280x720 16:9 MP4(h.264 video codec, aac audio codec), or 640*480 4:3 MP4(h.264 video codec, aac audio codec), or normal FLV videos, so you have to use a right converter to convert VOB to Youtube videos. With RZ Video Converter, you can easy convert VOB videos to high quality youtube videos, then you can sign in your youtube account, and upload your videos onto Youtube.com. You can yahoo or google search and download RZ Video Converter, easy to use, hope it can help you!

I haven't used that program before, but as a guess.

You either have to export it as a different file type, or just download a free converter.

I suggest Format Factory, it's free and does lots of conversions.
