What security setting do i have to change?

at least I think it's a security setting.... All of a sudden I can't see videos on you tube or ';quizzes'; on aol or people. I'm pretty sure it has to do with activex controls, but I can't figure out how the settings are supposed to be. Can you help?What security setting do i have to change?
