How Long does it take for ear tubes to relieve pressure in ears HELP?

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THESE EAR TUBES TO TAKE AWAY THE PRESSURE IN MY EAR? ITS BEEN 4 DAYS AND NOTHING HAS CHANGEDHow Long does it take for ear tubes to relieve pressure in ears HELP?
It should be immediate since ear tubes directly open your inner ear to your ear canal. What you might be feeling is sinus pressure, pressure in your eustacian tube (tube that goes from your inner ear to the back of your throat. In which case, that might all go away in time or with the antibiotics which I'm sure you're getting. If you are old enough to get ear tubes, yet be able to write this question, you have some SERIOUS ear problems. Most adults do not need ear tubes. Seeing this, I would say that perhaps the anatomy of you maxillofacial bones, face, skull, etc in general might be different of suffer from chronic infections whether they be ear infections or sinus infections. In which case, you might feel pressure from something else, not just your inner ear. You're going to have to go back to the doctor for your post-surgery follow-up appointment so I'd discuss this with him/her.How Long does it take for ear tubes to relieve pressure in ears HELP?
it could take up to a week for the pressure and pain to go away. I had them when i was younger and it took a while also. After the pain goes away, everything feels much better.
It should have relieved the pressure long ago. Call the installer's office. Take care.
it depends. If your doctor sucked the fluid out at the time of surgery then relief is immediate If the doctor did not then it could take a few weeks. Just make sure to keep your ears dry and use the drops the doctor gave you to prevent infection. Another trick is to take a decongestant a cough syrup with and exporiant to thin and dry up the extra fluid
Wow, something should have changed within the first 24 hours....you need to call your doctor...
