I have a Boys' Mongoose Crush Freestyle Bike - 20'; that i ';received.'; I need to change the tube and I also want to spray paint it. When I look inside the peg to see what kind of wheel bolt it had, it was nothing I could work with. Just a flat surface. I tried twisting the pegs off because on some bmx bikes you just screw them on, but this didn't work either. Any suggestions, other than taking it to a shop?How do I get my wheel off?
You will need a deep well socket and an extension to reach the nuts.
