My BMX is rusty how do i change the inner tube?

I want to remove the wheels but the bike is quite rusty which makes the bolts impossible to unscrew. Is there a way of removing the rust inside the bolts or an alternative way of changing the bikes inner tube without actually having to take the wheel off ... Thank you :)My BMX is rusty how do i change the inner tube?
If a good penetrating oil and a decent spanner does not do the job, there are alternatives, but I do not recommend any of them. They have worked for me when restoring old bikes.

Penetrating oil. Let soak in for 24 hours.

Mechanical advantage. Get a huge, strong length of pipe in order to be able to exert many more newton meters to the spanner.

Heat. Get a blowlamp on the nut and get it hot. You'll probably damage the paintwork.

Impact driver. A device that accepts socket wrenches. You hit the impact wrench with a big hammer in order to break the rust seal.

Chisel. Get a steel chisel and hammer the nut in an anticlockwise direction. New nuts wanted.

Nut splitter. A Device that will split the nut in half. New nuts wanted .

Hacksaw. cut the nut off. Don't damage the axle. New nuts wanted anyway.

You've got to take the wheel off in order to change the inner tube.My BMX is rusty how do i change the inner tube?
You have to take the wheel off to change the tube.

As far as the rusty wheels go, Ensure that you are using the proper size wrench / or socket. (Bikes are traditionally in metric)

You could try giving the bolts a soak in WD40 for 24 hours and see if that helps you.

Push comes to shove, a hacksaw does the trick ;)
get some wd40 on the bolts and they will come off.i suggest you buy some quick realease bolts from halfords or somewhere similar so in the future the jobs a lot easier
I bet the rest of the bike is a mess, as well.

You should be able to get the inner tube free from the tyre without taking the wheel out, mend the puncture and put it back.
