How do you change your picture on you-tube?

First You log into your Youtube account. Then, look at the top of your screen - it should say your youtube account name as a blue link. Hover your mouse over that link. Then a little drop down menu should come out of your youtube name. Click on ';more...';. Then you should see a screen come up with loads of options on how to edit your channel. Amongst these options, you will see your channel picture or the default youtube user image which is a grey person holding a video camera. Anyway, below the picture it should say ';change';. Click change. Now a menu/new window should come up. One option is to use your latest video still as your youtube image. Another is to choose a video still. Yet another is to use the default image and the last one says ';upload an image';. Select this option and then click on the button saying ';choose file';. Click on it and choose a file from your computer. Then click ';open'; and it should use that as your image. If it doesn't appear straight away, then don't worry. Uhhmm...I think you Edit your Profile.

From there, you should be able to figure it out.
Make sure you're logged into http://www.youtube.com and then go here:

Click ';change'; under the picture of your avatar. This will open a menu. You have 4 options.

?Always use your latest uploaded video still

?Upload an image- You can upload a JPG, non-animated GIF, BMP, or PNG file. Do not upload pictures containing celebrities, nudity, artwork or copyrighted images. Your image will be displayed as an 88px by 88px square. Maximum file size is 256K.

?Choose a video still from your videos

?Use default image (not recommended)



Choose one, and edit the settings further. Now click ';Save changes'; and you're done!
