Bought a new whee;, and need to change tube to it. How can I deflate it? at the moment the valve cap is off but is that enough? How can i deflate my bike tube so I can switch it of wheels.?
It will depend on the inner tube you have. On a regular car type valve find something to push in the center pin to let the air out. On a presta valve you have to unscrew the top section all the way and then push down on the pin.

You mentioned the valve cap is off. That's good. Now take a pencil or pen tip and gently push on the valve itself. You;ll hear air seeping out. You can do this for a few seconds to deflate the tube. Then remove the tube from the rim and put the new tube on. Remember to inflate the new tube using a hand pump or air at a gas station Only add enough air as what is recommended by the manufacturer of the tube.
The cap being off is a good start.
If you have a Schrader valve (like a car tire) then get a ballpoint pen and press it on the pin in the middle of the valve until the air's out.
If you have a Presta valve, then unscrew the inner cap (or whatever it's called) and press on the valve until the air's out.
That's it.
